His practice of architecture shows a straightforward application of methodology and systems developed by him, over many years; in order to meet today’s challenges.

He has, in principle, adopted the tripe bottom line (people, planet & profit) in his projects, hoping to raise the clients’ level of awareness vis-à-vis sustainable design. He believes that architects being at the forefront of efforts towards a sustainable future have the responsibility of educating their clients (and all other stakeholders) on its goals.  His designs have always considered adjusting to natural site conditions, exploiting available technology to cut back on power requirements for its equipment, optimizing building orientation to reduce heat load in order to downsize on mechanical requirements; promoting gray water storage as part of sustainable water management for alternative uses and proposing a greener site development approach to preserve the natural surroundings and improve air quality.

With equal passion, he implements principles of good design and sustainability, while keeping a keen eye on how this will affect project cost and schedule. Architect Topy’s extensive knowledge allows him the skill to propose imaginative and unique solutions to design and construction concerns that may arise during the project life-cycle.
